my hamster might have wet tail?

my hamster is really ill i think caz ushally he wants 2 come out n play n he is there at the cade door up n awake bt he is sleeping all the time he is never up n evertime i wake him up with noses n he comes out he bits me n my friend came over n we were looking at him n she said he might have wet tail beacuse of all the stuff around his bum we agve him a bath with specal shampoo n everthing n he was ok bt the next day he want back 2 normal i am gona tell my mum n dad n take him 2 the vet bt i really need 2 no if it is condagous 2 other animals n if the simtims sound like wet tail i am looking after my friends guiny pigs n if they have it n i dont no n they die i will never 4give my self n if my hamster is in pain n i dont do anything i will never 4give my self eather i really love him he is the world 2 me its kinda dumb a hamster bt i really love him so please please help me

Do you need a prescription to buy advantage or revolution for your pet?

I need to get some advantage or revolution for my ferrets. I know stores such as petco sell it, but do I need a prescription from your vet to buy it? When considering to buy it online I saw a few sites asked for proof of a prescription from your vet so I was wondering if pet stores might be the same?

they don’t have it anymore but they have this white stuff that looks like dandruff
how to i get rid of that?

found shampoo for dandruff at the pet store butits for dogs andcats can i get the one for cats?

Guinea Pig bite wound?

My brother was taking care of my pet guinea pigs over the weekend. They get along very well. they are both sows. I was weighing and grooming my young one, and I found a scab and some open flesh on her ear and the skin below her ear. What should i do before I take her to the vet? I have cleaned the wound with some diluted hydrogen peroxide, and I am keeping the guinea pigs together, but I have put in two hidey houses so they don’t get too close. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I NEED TO DO. I am scared,

is b12 injections for cattle the same as the b12 injections for humans?

hi im currently recieving b 12 injections from my weight doctor with other med to lose weight, it truly does boost my energy level , in return im way more active and im exercising.so im losing the weight pretty fast. the problem being the injection cost 10.00 a week and i have to drive a long ways to get it . i know it wouldnt be a problem to get it done at home . the big issue is getting my hand on the b 12 injection. I have however have had numerous people telling me to go to the vet and get it. they say its the same exact thing and its cheaper. has any one heard of this or knows if its the same deal or not? what do you think?

Ok, my guinea pig is almost 3 month old and he has this wierd greenish scab above for 5 days now

and about 2 carrots a day(baby carrots)

Also should i put neosporn on it or any human ointment? or would that harm him?

Why are my Guinnea pigs’s eyes weird?

not often, but occasionally, like when he cleans himself, my piggie’s eyes will have a little bit of white liquid oozing out his eyes. the vet doesnt know what it is, because he hasnt seen the pig clean itself whenever we go to the vet. what should i do?

My dog was spayed on Thursday and?

I took her to the vet today because she was swollen and red around her incision. He gave her some pain medication to help the swelling and gave me some bitter apple to spray on it to help her not lick her stitches. Her swelling has went down a lot but it looks like her incision is wet but she hasn’t been licking it. The vet said to keep her activity down and I have been trying to. She gets up on the couch but its not really a jump, it’s more like she just steps up to get on the couch. I don’t know if I should call the vet back in the morning and see why it looks like it’s wet, if it even does in the morning. She has licked it a lot while we are sleeping at night, we tried to put an E-collar on her but she freaked out, we tried again today and she didn’t really let us put it on her but we got in on her. She is acting normal. She still eats like a pig and wants to play but we don’t let her. He also said that if we kept her from licking it she would be okay until she gets her stitches out which is on the 15th of this month. Just let me know from personal experience or something so I know what I should do tomorrow. By the way, I did spray some bitter apple on it a couple hours ago, could that be why it looks wet or do you think that would be dry by now.

my puppy needs your help?

hello.
No Commentsmy puppy has a very raw snout (mouth to nose) and it wont seem to go away.
she has had this for about a month, and its starting to smell terrible when i hold her.
she licks it, making it moist so its not healing.
she rubs it on everything she can, and i can tell it really annoys her by her yelping and moans.
we thought that she would let it heal but it hasn’t gotten any better.
and yes we have thought of a vet, but with thee way money is right now that’s not possible, so please help her, she really needs it!!.

How can i help my pet rat?

My female pet rat is only approx 8 - 9 months old. In what seems like a couple of days she has gone from a healthy energetic rat to a really quiet sooky and cuddle rat. She has lost movement in her back left leg and her back right leg is pretty weak. Cant afford to take her to a vet. How do i know if she is in pain? She seems to be eating and getting around okay but gets puffed out quickly. Is this a normal disease rats get? Or has something happened to her? Although she is looked after very well. What can i do to help her? Please help asap!
