Will sheep eat pines?

I have a christmas tree farm and I’d like to incorporate livestock to help keep the tall grasses down. I’ve read that sheep and other ruminants can destroy shade trees, but would they destroy pines too?

Do Dogs/Cats eat Dogs and Cats when they eat their pet food?

I’ve recently learned of a scandal, rising from this whole contamiated food thing, that road kill, diseased live stock and euthanized companion animals (cats, dogs) are used in everyday Pet foods for dogs and cats to be eaten as a “balanced and nutritious meal.” I don’t doubt this is true, (I’ve seen some nasty video footage of this, heres edited content if you’d like to see it: http://K9RX.com has the video, click on the pet food bag, and the lady talking in it has a little more info, on her books website: http://www.critterchat.net/foodpets.htm ) but is there any proof out there that proves this wrong, does someone know something that might save the pet food industry and our pets from the diseases in the tissuses of these rendered animals that they’re eating? Or can the pet food companies only denie it? I provide my cats with cats and dogs, roadkill and rotting livestock under the pretense of “Meat Bi-product” check your labels before you feed your best friend his dead brother!

They say eating beef is like driving an SUV. How does turkey compare?

They say feeding livestock has become so energy intensive that eating beef is like driving an SUV. Apparentyly, 58% of the America’s corn production goes to feeding livestock.

Energy Used to Grow, Harvest and Transport Corn and Alfalfa

Energy used for growing corn:

Total Energy Used
51,112 BTU/Bushel

Crude Oil Used
14,442 BTU/Bushel

How does turkey compare? Will switching my family to turkey cut back our impact on the environment?

Can you give me some help on this topic?

Ok, so I’m doing this research paper on whatever subject you want and I chose to do the effects from livestock mistreatment. I saw this on tv and it was like bad living conditions for animals used for food can cause certain diseases in humans. It was for a proposition in California. But I’m not sure what exactly this topic could be called. Like when I research it on different websites and things like that. Please help? :)

Can you get to heaven the old way (just curious)?

If i’m not mistaken (which isn’t to say I’m not), before Jesus, people would have their sins forgiven by sacrificing their best livestock on an altar to God. Then Jesus came along and was made the ultimate sacrifice, so now we don’t have to do that. But COULD you still do it?

Will apple cider vinegar hurt goldfish & koi?

I have a livestock tank that I have goldfish & koi in to help with mosquito larvae. I am told if I dump a couple of gallons of ACV in my 500 gallon tank that it will stop the algae growth as well as help with the flies on the livestock but I don’t want to put it in the tank if it will hurt my fish.
