i wasent even home to say good bye.

this just made a bad week worse.

my room looks so empty without her.

poeple say she was just a rat but she has been there for me a for a really long time.
since about 7th grade.

she was there to watch cartoons with me when i had mono and no one else was home.

she was so funny when she would run around her little house like she was a race car driver.

she loved to be with people.

when you would walk by my room all you had to do was say squeerks and she would go nuts.

i rember when i first got her the lady at the store said she was a boy..then she had babies lol

yea she was a pet..but to me she was more..she was a friend

and she is gone now..just like that..

no good byes
no second chances
just gone

idk how to get over her death.

everyone else seems okay…i cant help but cry myself to sleep every night.(its been 2 days)

help anyone???

P.S. Snickers is the one you see as my photo thing.

P.S.S. She has never had babies..I call her Layla’s adoptive mom cause when I got Layla when she was 2 months Snickers took her in and protected her. I just thought I’d clear that up.
I use pine bedding. I first air it out..anyways maybe she’s sweating and it smells like ***..so maybe it is..and thanks for the answers so far!

We are planning to keep the baby girls and find homes for the baby boys.

The question is what should we do with the father? We obviously cannot allow him to continue to impregnate either the mother or the babies. We would like to keep him, but we have heard that neutering a guinea pig can be very dangerous.

He is still very young, and very cute, and we think we could find him a good home. But would it break his heart to be separated from his family?

Does anybody have any expertise as to exactly how risky neutering a guinea pig is, and how that weighs against how difficult it would be for him (and his family) if he were to be separated from them?

she then started having little fits and wouldent run away when i touched her.

she lasted through the day.

BUUTT . then i put her in a warm box with afew blankets and things to keep her warm ……

i came back a few hours later she had fallen to sleep (died)
im SOOOO sad and i need to no why she died please help me
