My brothers are worse than PIGS! They are so gross when it comes to room/bathroom cleanliness. What can i do?!

*first of all, we have no maid service*

This past week my brothers (14 and 12 yrs old) and my father went away on a 5 day trip. The house remained spotless during those 5 days. Everything was in order and where it was supposed to be, but then once they arrived, in less than 24hrs. the house was a mess. Especially the kitchen, dirty dishes everywhere, they spilled something on the floor and didn’t clean it, dirty napkins on the floor and table. All sorts of disgusting things, the doggone house looked like a frickin’ toxic waste plant. They don’t even bother to clean it up. they just hang around and watch TV around the mess. I have tried to make them understand that that is totally DISGUSTING! but it doesn’t seem to go into their brains! and my mom goes crazy, because afterwards she expects ME to clean the **** up. What can I do to make them understand that hygiene and cleanliness are important!?

Does anyone in massachusetts want to adopt my cute bunny and/or guinea pig?

We are moving to Florida and sadly cannot take our bunny or guinea pig with us. These are my 3 young girls pets and was horrified to find out some scumbags cruise the internet looking for free food for their snakes. Nothing against people who own snakes but if you are too poor to spend the few bucks for a rat you shouldn’t own a pet. Anyway we live in Winchester, massachusetts and are looking for a GOOD family for our beloved pets. The first is cocoa who is a 1 1/2 year old male mini lop bunny. He is very cute and litter box trained. The second is Maggie a 2 year old brown and black female guinea pig. Both have never bit anyone and are very friendly. As I said we are horrified by the thought of our pets ending up as snake food so we will not even consider a single guy taking them unless he is accompanied by a woman or child at pick-up. Sorry dont mean to be sexist but Im a guy and I wouldn’t feed a snake these cute things after my daughters or wife saw them.

In your religion, how does the world end, and?

Where do you go after death?

After death: Those who die in battle will be carried to Valhall by the Valkyries. There they will eat Saehrimnir (a pig that is daily slaughtered and resurrected) with the Gods. The Goddess Hel (who’s name has been borrowed by Christians) rules over dishonorable people (oath breakers) and those who die ingloriously of old age. Niflhel is the the abode for all others.

The end of the world: Ragnarök (a.k.a. Ragnarøkkr, Ragnarøk, Ragnarok; literally the fate of the Gods) is the anticipated apocalypse. It involves a great battle between the Gods and the Jötnar — a race of giants with superhuman strength. Unlike Revelation in the Christian Scriptures, prophecies of Ragnarök are very specific: the events leading up to the battle, the timing of the battle, who will kill whom, etc. are all known. Wolves will eat the sun and moon. The stars will stop shining. Mountains will fall; trees will be uprooted; “Fumes will reek and flames will burst, scorching the sky with fire. The earth will sink into the sea.” Most of the Gods will die. Only one woman and one man, Lifthrasir and Lif, will survive. Their offspring will eventually repopulate the world and live in peace.

It sates itself on the life-blood
of fated men,
paints red the powers’ homes
with crimson gore.
Black become the sun’s beams
in the summers that follow,
weathers all treacherous.
Do you still seek to know? And what?
~Poetic Edda, Völspa, Stanza 44.

Brothers will fight
and kill each other,
sisters’ children
will defile kinship.
It is harsh in the world,
whoredom rife
—an axe age, a sword age
—shields are riven—
a wind age, a wolf age—
before the world goes headlong.
No man will have
mercy on another.
~ Poetic Edda, Völva, stanza 44

“Earth shall be riven
and the over-heaven.”
~ Skarpåker Stone, Södermanland, Sweden
I was not attacking christianity, I was comparing it. Also stating facts, like our Hel, is where you get your hell.

Guinea pig question?

I just bought my 9 yr old a papillon dog, and it turns out I don’t think we can keep the dog for various reasons. I feel so very bad for my daughter and promised her we could get a guinea pig if she wants. She wants a pet that will play and let her hold. We haven’t had the dog quite long enough to get attached yet, but I’m still afraid it will break her heart if its replaced with something thats not as interesting. Any information I can get about them I’d appreciate because I don’t want to make another mistake. Also, is there any differences between the male and females as far as affection goes? Please, ANY info will help me. So far I’ve been able to read on the net about the cage and the hay, so that’s the only info I have so far.
Also, we have an indoor/outdoor cat that does not easily welcome other animals. She won’t hurt the dog, but in your opinion how likely is it that a cat would see a guinea as a rat?
