is it unrealistic to expect my son to be able to read by the age of 3?

He will turn 3 in September.

Right now he can spell and recognize the words: boy, barn, house, go, stop, no, yes, pig, cow, ant, dog, cat, car, can, log, word, star, moon, & cake. He is always pointing to words and asking “what’s that word?”

I must give some credit to the excellent PBS show and DVD series: Word World.

Am I hoping for too much?
if you ask him “What does B say,” he’ll answer “buh, buh,” etc. So he does know consanant sounds

How do i get my puppy to stop pottying inside when we’re not around?

My 7 month old puppy (pitbull/yellow lab/maybe beagle mix) is a complete angel when my wife or i are home with her. She knows to go to the front door when she has to potty. She doesn’t bark and is AMAZING with my 7 month old son. However, my wife’s and my work schedules conflict, so she’s alone in the house for about an hour and a half. during that small window, she poops and pees in the house and goes out of her way to get into stuff like the trash. we’ve tried crating but she gets either out (and cuts her snout doing it) or some kind of panic attack and when we come home she’s foaming at the mouth. we barracade her in the living room with a TALL baby gate but she manages to jump over it and gets into the trash. we always make sure she’s gone potty before we leave but she still goes inside. i know she’s just a puppy and this may be just a phase, but i **** coming home EVERY DAY and cleaning up!!!! please help me figure out how to help her!!!

How long did you soak your belly piercing with salt water?

I had my belly button re-pierced in October. The guy told me to soak it with salt water every night for about 10 minutes. I only did it for like the first 2 weeks. It still is not healed! Should I have kept up with the soaks longer?

can a guinea pig temporairly live in this ?

i mean i would take it out for exersize in my back yard and stuff but just like for a like 3 weeks or so …….. how big do peruvian guinea pigs get when their fullgrown ??? this is the hope fully temporary home http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10529562

oh and since its cold its going to be in a small room temporairly
…………i know i have alot of questions but heres another1 ……………….. how much does it cost to have a guinea pig including vet bills and food etc….

Pork is prohibited in Christianity then why do Christians ignore this reality?

The Christian is likely to be convinced by his religious scriptures. The Bible prohibits the consumption of pork, in the book of Leviticus

“And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you”.

“Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch, they are unclean to you.”
[Leviticus 11:7-8]

Pork is also prohibited in the Bible in the book of Deuteronomy

“And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you. Ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcass.”
[Deuteronomy 14:8]

A similar prohibition is repeated in the Bible in the book of Isaiah chapter 65 verse 2-5.

Proven Facts: -
1. Consumption of pork causes several diseases
2. Pork has fat building material
3. Pig is one of the filthiest animals on earth
4. Pig is the most shameless animal

How or where can I purchase a stuffed “golden” pig for my daughter?

My daughter is being born on the year of the golden pig. I just want to give her a stuffed pig that is golden in color. All the pigs I have found so far online are pink or some other colors…

My guinea pig always scratches me. Can I clip her nails?

Her claws are so sharp. She just sliced my finger.And cut me so many times. You know the pedi paws. The dog and cat filer. Do you think I could use that, I dont like getting hurt by her. And Ergh. But. Yeah
Please and thank you. :) And I was wondering if I could put a mouse with her. If they wouldnt fight or bite. I dont know. My friends mouse is having a baby. And I wanted one. :) I just dont know if they could be together. So. Um. Can they??
