Jealous House Rabbit?
April 30th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I have a house rabbit whom is very spoilt, he has a great big cage that he sleeps and eats in, he has a litter tray for the obvious and he has access to come and go all day and all night. He jumps up on the couch when commanded and is extremley loved and spoilt.
2 CommentsI thought it would be nice to get him two Guniea Pigs to play with, they have there own cage. For the first day he was not interested in them now he is growling at them if i hold them or stroke them, he has tryed attacking them when they sit on my knee. He only growls at them when they are interacting with me. He has been neutered.
Any ideas on what to do?!!

Should I get a rat or guinea pig?
April 30th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I’m getting another small animal in a few weeks, and I can’t decide between a guinea pig or rat. I am experienced with rats but would be a first-time guinea pig owner. (In the past I’ve had a rat and two hamsters.) Please help! Give me a compelling reason for one of them
I love rodents and can care for anything.

Is this weird?
April 29th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I saw a little girl about 4 years old, a cute little girl with pig tales and blonde hair in a pink dress walking on the street. She was walking her pet, not a dog,or a cat, or a rodent but HER PET FISH! He was in the bowl it was a small bowl with one fish in it being dragged on the side walk… Is that normal?

Is my grehound’s play normal?
April 29th, 2009 Posted by: admin
Brand new greyhound owner for 2 hours now, and my cute girl is going to town on her stuffies. I’ve never had a dog before, and I’ve done reading on greyhounds and asked lots of questions-but this is one I hadn’t thought about! Do they shake their heads back and forth with a stuffie in their mouth (looks like she’s trying to rip it to shreds!) because they are having fun, or is it because she’s upset? I know she’s nervous (she’s got dandruff, but I was told that would subside as she gets used to me and her new home) I’m afraid the pink pig toy won’t make it through the night!
I guess I just don’t know if she’s chewing all over it to tear it up or to find the squeaker.
Thanks,
Nervous new owner.
Thanks to everyone’s response-as I and some of you suspeted, poor pink pig….she’s a goner.
She didn’t shred it, but the squeaker is broken! She seems to like the other stuffies I got her. Some friends came for burgers and while we ate in the kitchen, I gated her in the room right next to us and gave her the kong with some peanut butter. She seemed to have fun with that too. Thanks for all of your responses-I feel much better now!

What does anybody think of ceramic brake pads?
April 29th, 2009 Posted by: admin
I have a 2004 Dodge 4×4 1500 . I’ve had it for about a year. When I bought it from the dealership they had put new brakes on it, but they have squeaked worse and worse as time has passed. I can be doing 60mph and they still squeal like a pig.
5 CommentsI’m thinking of changing to ceramic to stop the squeak, but I was told that they are loud and that they make stopping rough and jittery.
Yes or no on ceramic pads and why.

Should my guinea pig itch a lot?
April 29th, 2009 Posted by: admin
Recently, everytime I see my guinea pig he’s itching or nibbling at his body. I spoke to a friend, and she said they can have ‘fly bite’ or something along those lines which can eventually kill them. She suggested giving him a wash.
Should I worry about his itching and give him a wash, or is it normal?

Any heart warming stories about your cats?
April 28th, 2009 Posted by: admin
Everyone likes to brag about their pets, their children, their family, whatever. Heres a chance to brag about your pet.
Heres my story….
I have two cats, one is 11, one is 3. My older cat is very independent, likes to do his own thing, and will come visit you when he wants a good petting. My younger cat is an emotional pig, she loves the affection. When she was younger, my fiance and I taught her how to play fetch like a dog, and she has picked it up well. People can’t believe how much she loves to play fetch, whatever we throw, she runs and brings it back. We even have her trained to drop it on our lap instead of the floor infront. Shes an awesome cat and a great addition to our family. We adopted her from a rescue, great idea if your looking for a pet, give those cats a chance in life, they deserve it.
