Food Prices are skyrocketing, Should we try to grow more local produce?

Should each state set aside a certain amount of Farmland to grow crops and livestock to take back control of our food? from the large food conglomerates. Who see food as a commodity

I dont know about anyone else, but I plant a large garden every year and it bears vegetable to last me until the next planting season. If things get worse I gonna build a chicken house and raise them, possibly get a cow for milk……….I don’t know how im gonna do in since I live in NYC

in a way yes..this relates to supply and demand…right now with the extreme infaltion. when more products are produced the price goes down because there will be an excess of food as compaired to how much is needed
