What is the best small pet?

My room mate currently has the following pets…
1 rat
1 guinea pig
1 rabbit
2 chinchillas
5 mice
1 turtle
1 frog

In the past year that I have lived with her she has had the following…
1 lizard (RIP 5 years old)
1 Hamster (RIP didn’t even last the bring back date for petsmart. evil little thing)

She has bred hamsters (those weren’t evil. they were kinda nice)

So i’ve been around a lot of animals this past year and I have owned:
1 betta (RIP 2 years old)
2 guinea pigs

I have my top favorite breeds so far but I was wondering about it and I want to know whats your favorite small animal and why

thanks ^^

I love my chinchillas! They are a lot of fun, and have wonderful personalities. They are the sweetest things, and so soft. Not particularly cuddly, but they are a lot of fun to let run around in an enclosed space, because they are fast as lightning! :D
Feel free to check out for more information on them. They make great pets, just do your research beforehand.

How about we add hermit crab! :D their easy to take care of and only cost less than 50$ dollars to take care of, they live up to 20-25 years so get ready for some commitment they live in packs so don’t let him/her be lonely :D 2 will be fine they live in a 10 gallon tank which you can get for a cheap price at Petsmart for all around 13.99$ US
so lets think about having one as a pet :D yay!
